Can golf training aids actually help your golf game? No doubt about it. I am living proof of it. I went from shooting low 90's to mid 80's in a matter of a couple of weeks. My first recommendation is to have better course management. Then work on your golf swing. I've used several golf training aids to do just that.
When my golf swing first started going awry, I asked my friends if they could figure out what had changed in my swing. They made mention of me bobbing up and down, while trying to swing too hard. Their thought was that I was attempting to hit the ball further and I was taking my frustration out on the golf ball.
So one of the golf training aids I quickly found out about was the Swingyde Golf Swing Training Aid. This rather inexpensive device allowed me to regain my swing by swinging on plane. Meaning, if you are not swinging on plane, Swingyde will move away from being in contact with your forearm and will tell you so. After a few short weeks with Swingyde, I was playing the best golf of the season.
